Hexagon to Showcase its Smart Cities & Nations Portfolios at Intergeo

Hexagon, a global leader in sensor, software and autonomous solutions, is showcasing its Smart Buildings & Infrastructure and Smart Cities & Nations portfolios at the Intergeo trade show and conference in Stuttgart, Germany, 17-19 September. The event’s theme, 'Knowledge and Action for Planet Earth', and special focus on the expansion of digital technology in mobility, construction and location intelligence applications, tie directly to Hexagon’s overarching value proposition: to shape production and urban ecosystems to become fully autonomous and connected.

As stated by Hexagon’s president and CEO, Ola Rollén, “The ultimate form of data leverage is when tasks and processes become autonomous, which is the goal of our smart solutions portfolios. We help customers leverage the data within their workflows to achieve the greatest efficiency, productivity and quality outcomes possible. On site, Jürgen Dold, President of Hexagon’s Geosystems division, will give a keynote address on 17 September discussing how technological progress changes the conditions under which business is done and fosters opportunities for new business models.

Location intelligence

In the exhibition area, Hexagon will showcase solutions that help manage the life of a building (from initial land surveying, through design, build, maintenance, renovation and demolition) and optimize the successful delivery of heavy infrastructure projects. Key highlights include the recently introduced Leica DSX utility detection solution as well as building design software (BricsCAD) and solutions for ensuring building construction projects are completed on time and on budget (HxGN SmartBuild). Also on display will be reality capture solutions that apply the power of location intelligence to meet the growing needs of cities and nations. Key highlights include the recently introduced Leica BLK2GO mobile reality capture solution as well as the HxGN Content Program and the Hexagon Smart M.Apps and Luciad portfolios.

New solutions for enabling autonomous connected ecosystems will also be announced and on display for the first time.
