senseFly Showcases eBee X Fixed-wing Drone in Free Webinar

senseFly, a leading provider of fixed-wing drone solutions, is hosting a free educational webinar exploring its new fixed-wing drone, the eBee X, at 10:00 EST / 16:00 CET (GMT+2) on Tuesday 13 November.
Francois Gervaix, fixed-wing drone lead for Parrot Business Solutions, will be joined by founders of two leading North American drone service companies, Chris Healy of IN-FLIGHT Data and Scott Hiebert of Green Aero Tech, for the 45-minute live event. Together, they will discuss how they have employed the eBee X in a range of projects, from assessing open pits to flying beyond visual-line-of-sight (BVLOS) and more.
“With the eBee X, we wanted to set a new standard in mapping tools and redefine what a drone can do, so we designed it to boost the quality, efficiency and safety of data collection to meet our users’ needs,” said Gervaix. “In our webinar, geospatial professionals will get an up-close look at the eBee X and learn from experienced operators who are already flying the platform and have seen how it can be utilised to map without limits, no matter the project.”
Chris Healy, owner of Canadian drone operation IN-FLIGHT Data, is passionate about the value that BVLOS UAV flights can bring to Canadian organisations, governments and citizens alike. As the project lead for Canada’s largest ever BVLOS project, Chris and his team have successfully delivered on over 2,000km of BVLOS flights for more than 20 large Canadian and multi-national organisations.
As CEO and co-founder of Green Aero Tech, Scott Hiebert’s experiences running a multi-million-dollar investment firm allowed him to directly see and experience the opportunities that exist for UAV specialists in business, and to translate drone technology into solutions for industry.
