Central Alliance Launches Geo Construction Division

Central Alliance, the market leading pre-construction services company, has strengthened its geotechnical capabilities with the creation of a new Geo Construction division.

Investment in the division includes the acquisition of specialist drilling contractor Electro Install Ltd, which bolsters Central Alliance’s geotechnical and slope climbing proficiencies.

Electro Install Ltd’s specialist slope climbing rigs have full body and mast rotation, enabling Central Alliance to carry out ground investigation in the same orientation and location as proposed remedial works such as soil nailing or Electrokinetic slope stabilisation techniques. This will significantly minimise the risk of unforeseen ground conditions and provide valuable data to inform more accurate pricing and methodology for construction.

Services offered by the new division will be used across the construction industry from infrastructure, civil engineering projects, energy and power sector schemes to residential developments.

Central Alliance is already working on projects using the specialist slope climbing rigs and has just completed bespoke ground investigation work on the £1.5 billion A14 improvement scheme at Brampton Hut for Amey/Highways England.
