Kratos Receives US$11m+ Contract for Unmanned Systems

Kratos Defense & Security Solutions, a leading National Security Solutions provider, has announced it has received US$11.2 million in new unmanned aerial drone and unmanned ground vehicle system contract awards, including additional subsystems, support equipment, and spares for fielded Kratos systems with their established domestic and international customers.

Kratos is a leading provider of high-performance jet-powered unmanned aerial drone systems for both target and tactical applications; providing the aircraft systems, command and control equipment, and mission subsystems for these applications.

In addition, Kratos develops and provides unmanned ground vehicle kits for military and for commercial applications. Work under these new contract awards will be performed at secure Kratos manufacturing facilities and at customer locations. Due to competitive, customer related and other considerations, no additional information will be provided related to these contract awards.

President of Kratos Unmanned Systems Division, Steve Fendley, said “The Global Recapitalization of strategic weapon systems is a strong demand driver for Kratos' high performance, threat representative target drone systems, and we are proud to support the U.S. DoD and our allies in their missions.”
