Trimble has announced that its Trimble Catalyst software-defined global navigation satellite system (GNSS) receiver for Android phones and tablets has been updated to support GLONASS. The update demonstrates the advantages of a software-based GNSS solution for delivering new functionality faster and easier. Access to the GLONASS constellation increases the number of GNSS satellites visible when working in the field. Yuneec Launches RTK Variant of H520 Hexacopter

UAV manufacturer Yuneec has released a new version of its commercial hexacopter platform with an integrated RTK unit from Swiss firm Fixposition. The H520 RTK is capable of 1cm + ppm horizontal / 1.5cm + ppm vertical positioning, making this model suitable for high accuracy, automated inspection tasks, faster 3D mapping, and forensic applications. OS Net - Preparations for Future GNSS

Ordnance Survey (OS) has just updated its geodetic infrastructure.
