DJI, a world leader in civilian drones and aerial imaging technology, has announced the global rollout of the Phantom 4 RTK, a high-precision aerial survey drone that combines centimetre-level navigation and positioning with a high-performance imaging system to improve survey efficiency and accuracy, reducing operational difficulty and cost. A new RTK module was integrated directly into the drone improving image metadata. Yuneec Launches RTK Variant of H520 Hexacopter

UAV manufacturer Yuneec has released a new version of its commercial hexacopter platform with an integrated RTK unit from Swiss firm Fixposition. The H520 RTK is capable of 1cm + ppm horizontal / 1.5cm + ppm vertical positioning, making this model suitable for high accuracy, automated inspection tasks, faster 3D mapping, and forensic applications. SimActive Used to Validate Accuracy of DJI Phantom 4 RTK

SimActive, a Canadian deveoper of photogrammetry software, has announced that Correlator3D is being used in Japan for mapping projects acquired by the DJI Phantom 4 RTK.
